A Close Look at the iPhone Duo Ahead of Its Launch in Vietnam
The iPhone Duo is about to hit shelves in Vietnam with a starting price of nearly 65 million dong, featuring a foldable design and a screen with an almost invisible crease.
After years on the sidelines of the foldable smartphone race, Apple is entering the market with the iPhone Duo. Rather than making a drastic difference in design, the company focused on addressing the familiar limitations of this type of device, from the screen crease and body thickness to how well the display space is used.
A notable point of the iPhone Duo is that the inner folding screen has a crease that is hard to notice by sight and by touch. Apple uses a nano-texture coating to reduce reflections, combined with a multi-layer material structure that can shift relative to each other when the user closes or opens the device.
The iPhone Duo comes in two color options, Star White and Night Sky, with a starting price of 1.999 USD for the 256 GB version. The product is expected to be available for pre-order from 16/10 and officially go on sale on 23/10.
