Recently, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Tuyết Nhung, Chief Executive Officer of the Topica International Training Institute, Phú Xuân University, was honored as "Pioneering Innovation Leader 2026" at the Vietnam Excellence Brand 2026 Announcement Ceremony, held at Reunification Hall – Independence Palace, organized by the Business & Trade Magazine in coordination with the Institute for Invention & Technology Innovation Development, and central and local agencies.
With more than 20 years of experience in education, technology and marketing, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Tuyết Nhung has chosen a management approach that puts learners at the center, takes innovation as its driving force and regards technology as a means of creating real value for education.
These efforts have just been recognized with the title "Pioneering Innovation Leader", marking a journey of seeking new solutions to improve the quality of training and expand learning opportunities for the community.
A graduate in International Business and currently a doctoral researcher in Business Administration at the Swiss Institute of Management and Information, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Tuyết Nhung has a professional foundation in business and management. More than two decades in various management and executive positions have given her practical experience and the ability to adapt in the digital age.
Her experience across many fields has shaped a consistent view: in education, innovation cannot begin only with curricula or technology infrastructure, but must come from the mindset of leaders and the culture of the organization.
According to Ms. Nhung, innovation does not mean chasing the latest technology trends. An initiative is only truly meaningful when it solves a real problem, improves the quality of training and provides a better experience for learners. Technology is not the ultimate goal, and only delivers value when placed within an appropriate educational philosophy.
Currently, as Chief Executive Officer of the Topica International Training Institute under Phú Xuân University (a member of EQuest Education Group), Ms. Nguyễn Thị Tuyết Nhung focuses on developing a distance-learning university model oriented toward applying technology and putting learners at the center.
In less than a year under her leadership, Topica Institute has digitized thousands of courses and electronic learning materials on the LMS learning management system. Each course is integrated with an AI assistant to help students get answers to questions, reinforce their knowledge and be more proactive in self-study.
Alongside digitizing the curriculum, she has promoted building a technology ecosystem to serve training and operations. This includes an AI-powered examination system that supports building question banks, generating exams, organizing tests and grading; an electronic library integrating digital learning materials; and AI Agents (AI assistants) that support lecturers and students in training and study advising.
What stands out in Ms. Nhung's approach is that rather than deploying isolated tools, she connects them into an ecosystem that supports the learner's entire journey, from admissions and enrollment, accessing lectures and interacting with lecturers to taking tests and receiving advice.
The model also aims to use learning data to identify students' difficulties and offer appropriate support. This approach is especially meaningful for working people, learners who live far away and those who need lifelong learning.
Alongside investing in platforms, she emphasizes standardizing the process of developing learning materials and controlling academic quality. Artificial intelligence plays a supporting role, reducing the load of repetitive tasks, while the teaching staff remain the professional core.
This direction is helping Topica Institute gradually shift from a traditional distance-training model to a smart, flexible and scalable digital education ecosystem.
Alongside developing the online training model, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Tuyết Nhung is also a member of the leadership team supporting Phú Xuân University's innovation strategy. Her management experience and technology mindset contribute to expanding the training ecosystem, increasing the use of technology and improving the learner experience.
For her, the measure of value lies not only in growth figures but also in more and more learners gaining access to a modern, flexible educational environment that suits their needs.
In management, she encourages her team to proactively learn and adapt to technology. She also regularly takes part in sharing sessions with pupils and students on management, technology, personal branding and career orientation in the AI era, helping young people prepare their mindset and skills for changes in the labor market.
The title "Pioneering Innovation Leader" recognizes the journey of a manager who puts people at the center and uses technology to create practical changes in education.
In the next stage, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Tuyết Nhung will continue to work toward developing modern education models, expanding learning opportunities for the community and helping equip learners with the capacity to adapt and be creative in the digital economy.
